Why get certified? Not all competent managers have a college degree in management; their skills and training may be in disciplines other than management.Yet, all too often, one may be called upon to demonstrate their management competencies through certification in some form. CAC is developed by a University Professor and should qualify as a beginner-level management competency certification.

Another likely scenario is to utilize CA Certification as pre-work before promoting a competent individual into a management role.By asking a person to become certified prior to promotion, you are helping the individual avoid basic management mistakes.Although experience is a great way to develop management skills, it takes time, resources, and basic managerial mistakes can be expensive. Many management skills (not all) can be developed through content awareness and techniques learned from the Chaos Answer model
